Claims should be reported promptly, by the Insured or his representative, to the Claims Department- Maryland Joint Insurance Association.

Claims may be reported by phone or by submitting a Loss Report Form. In order to help facilitate processing, please provide all available information including the approximate amount of loss and as much information as is known as respects the origin of the loss.
In emergency situations, or in the event of a serious loss, it is advisable to report directly by telephone.
All loss assignments will be made by the Association. Adjusters are not authorized to accept loss assignments to JIA insured losses from any other source.
No adjustments of losses are to be handled by Producers. All questions pertaining to adjustment of Association losses, including policy interpretation, are to be referred to the Association .
All loss payments will be made by the Association.
